Eight Steps That Make It Easy to Listen to the Stomach

  1. I ate when my stomach was empty.

  2. I created a calm environment with no distractions.

  3. I ate when I was sitting.

  4. I ate when I felt relaxed.

  5. I ate and drank only the things I enjoy.

  6. I paid attention only to my food while eating.

  7. I savored every bite, eating slowly so I could enjoy it and feel nourished.

  8. I stopped when I was satisfied, but not too full.
